FAQ

We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. If it's been a long time since you've been to church, Wheaton Bible Church has you in mind. There's already enough you have to think about when visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of these details out of the way not only encourages you to join us for a service, but also helps you to experience the hope and encouragement God has for you.

  • What should I wear?
We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress comfortably and you'll fit right in.
  • What are the service times?
We meet on Sundays at 8:15, 9:45 and 11:15 am.
  • Where is the church located?

  • Is there interpretation provided for those who are hearing impaired?
Yes! We provide PSE sign language interpretation services for the 8:15 am worship service each week as well as the Homebuilders Adult Community at 9:40am. Interpreting assistance may be available upon request for deaf and hearing impaired for personal needs if personnel are available.
  • What do you have for my kids?
Base Camp (6 Weeks - Pre-K) check-in is located just outside the southwest side of the West Worship Center. Adventurers (K-4th Grade) and Quest56 (5th-6th Grade) meet on the lower level. You can take the stairs or elevators. There are things for kids during all services - 8:15, 9:45, an 11:15 am. We also offer Awana and other activities throughout the week.
  • Do you offer something for my teenager?
The Warehouse is a ministry for 6th-12th grade students. They meet on Sunday mornings as well as certain weeknight evenings. Click here for more information about the Warehouse.
  • Do you offer small groups?
Yes. We call them Community Groups and they offer the opportunity to connect with other people to share life and grow in faith with God. These groups usually meet in someone's home every other week. If you're interested in learning more about Community Groups, click here.
  • Are you affiliated with a denomination?
Founded in June 1929 and incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois in 1934, Wheaton Bible Church is an independent, nondenominational congregation that is governed by a Board of Elders. The Elders are chosen from, elected by, and responsible to the members of the church.
  • Can someone pray with me or for me?
Yes, at the end of Sunday services, pastors and counselors are available at the front of the worship center or you can ask someone at the Welcome Desk or Visitors Center. During the week, you may call the church (630.260.1600) or you can submit a prayer request online by clicking here and it will be sent directly to a pastor.
