  • CareNet Pregnancy Services
    Care Net Pregnancy Services of DuPage (CPS) works to prevent unplanned pregnancies. It also provides emotional support, spiritual counsel, and practical help to anyone dealing with the effects of unplanned pregnancies. CPS offers a 24-hour hotline, counseling for post-abortion clients, an Abstinence Outreach program, the Bridges program, and the Adopt-A-Mom program.

  • Deaf Communications
    The DVC Ministry Center functions for local outreach, providing a place for the local deaf and their families as well as a national conferencing center for workshops and conferences for those involved in deaf ministry.

  • Open Door For Teens
    Open Door for Teens, Inc. is a fund established to aid Foster Parents caring for At-Risk Teens, usually 13-18 years of age (or still in high school).They believe firmly in Accountability, Discipline, and Love. They admit Teens from multiple private agencies and provide several different types of support.

  • Ecumenical Support Services for the Elderly (ESSE)
    WBC and several other local churches financially support this senior adult daycare center. It provides a secure, protective social environment for the frail, somewhat disabled, or mildly confused older adults who might otherwise require institutional care. This objective is achieved by providing stimulating physical, social, and spiritual activities overseen by caring staff and volunteers.

  • Public Action to Deliver Shelter (P.A.D.S.)
    P.A.D.S. provides food and shelter to the homeless of DuPage County. Our church supports this service on the third Wednesday of every month at the P.A.D.S. site at Peace Lutheran Church in Lombard.

  • Outreach Community Center
    The mission of Outreach Community Ministries is to become a catalyst to help people from the community and members from our local churches extend compassion and service to those in need.

  • Repeat Boutique
    Repeat Boutique has clothing, and household items to help refugees, missionaries and other Christian workers. This ministry is entirely supported through donations and volunteer support. Each year more than 65 men and women, including many from WBC, share their time and talents at the boutique.

  • South Asian Friendship Center
    The South Asian Friendship Center is located in a Chicago neighborhood of immigrant Muslims and Hindus from India and Pakistan. We proclaim the uniqueness of Jesus Christ among these people through our Christian bookstore, meeting people at their point of felt need, evangelism, and equipping Christians and churches to share their faith with their Muslim and Hindu neighbors. A church plant, South Asian Fellowship, has grown out of this ministry.
