Local Impact Sunday

This Sunday, we'll hear from special speaker, Brian Mavis.  Brian is the Pastor of Community Transformation at LifeBridge Christian Church and the Director of Externally Focused Network. Brian has been called to strengthen, challenge, and encourage Christian leaders. As he says, "My fruit grows on other people's trees." He helped create and led SermonCentral.com (the largest sermon resource site in the world) from 2000-2005. He has written curriculum for some high-profile campaigns including Bono's "One Sabbath Campaign," Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ," World Vision's "Faith in Action" and "The Hole in Our Gospel." ."  He has been married over twenty years, has two teen daughters, and have had 7 foster sons.

This weekend along with Brian’s teaching, you will have opportunity to visit with all of the Local Impact ministries Wheaton Bible Church has created to compassionately serve our community and demonstrate Christ’s love to the community. Many of our local partners in ministry will be located in and around the Atrium. Please take some time to visit and learn!

This Sunday we will be premiering “Cultivate” a documentary about Wheaton Bible and Iglesia del Pueblo’s ministry in West Chicago. We hope you will be inspired by it.
