Winterpalooza 2012

Winterpalooza gives you and your friends the opportunity to escape the grind of everyday life for a weekend and have a ton of fun! Along with winter activities/competitions and games, we will have an awesome speaker to encourage us from the Bible, and we will worship with an incredible band. This is sure to be one of the best weekends of your year so find some friends to invite and sign up ASAP!

The Camp

Once again we will head up to Expeditions Unlimited Camp in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This camp boasts a broomball rink, tubing hill, gym (did somebody say dodgeball?), snack shop, and is a mere seven miles from the Devil’s Head Ski/Snowboard Resort. It has comfortable cabins and amazing homemade food. You won’t be disappointed!

The Speaker

This year our guest speaker is Clayton Keenon.  He grew up in the strange and distant land of Glen Ellyn. He works at Wheaton College, running small groups and chapel services for college students. Before that, he was the High School Pastor at Wheaton Bible Church. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle, and they have a beautiful one year old daughter named Annalise. He has eleven sisters and no brothers. He loves superheroes, science fiction, and social insects.

Clayton will be sharing with us from the Gospel of Luke, about how God has invited us to the greatest party of all time!

The Band

Each morning and evening the Warehouse Band, headed up by Scott Murray, will lead us into a time of worshiping God!
