How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I prayed to received Christ as a high school student listening to Billy Graham’s Hour of Decision radio broadcast. College strongly influenced my spiritual growth. It was during this time that God called me to full-time ministry.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
I received a phone call from Pastor Gary Dausey asking if I would be interested in an available pastoral position. At that time I was serving with David and Karen Mains at the Chapel of the Air Ministries.
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
I serve as one of the Community Life Pastors, as Pastor to Maturing Adults, and also administer the church Caring Fund. I also oversee the VIPS visitation ministry and teach various adult classes most every Sunday.
Why I do what I do
During college, I committed my life to serve the Lord in whatever way I could influence people the most people for Jesus Christ. Along with this overall goal, my passion is to lead people into a clear understanding of the Word of God.

Studied Psychology at University of Kansas (1967); Master of Divinity at Denver Seminary (1974); Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (1990)
Previously worked as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Pastor, Campus Crusade for Christ, Chapel of the Air
My favorite verse is Isaiah 48:17
