How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ I was introduced to Jesus through Young Life my sophomore year in high school. During a weekend ski retreat in Tahoe, the weekend speaker told us that we could know that “our Best Friend” owned the whole mountain we were skiing on. A few months later, on a Tuesday night club meeting, the leader told us that God had a plan for our lives. Knowing that God could be my best friend and that he had a plan for my life meant so much to an insecure 16 year old. I asked Jesus into my life on June 2, 1982.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church Our family was looking for a place where we could serve, learn from God’s Word and be a part of a community. We found that at WBC.
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church As Community Groups Catalyst, I work with the Community Life Team, giving special attention to community groups and community group leader training.
Why I do what I do Building community – being a part of a group that encourages deep relationship with Jesus and with one another so that others come to know him has always been a passion for me. Being a part of the community life team is a way I can help others experience that.
