How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I grow up in a home where my mother was Roman Catholic and my father Protestant. My father took me to church every Sunday, and my mother stayed at home, never opposing that my father took me to a evangelical church. When I was 14 years old, I went to a youth camp for a weekend and one night around a bonfire I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in my heart like no other time, and I met my personal Savior that night.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
I came to United States on December 23, 1998 to stay. In January 1999, my brother invited me to Iglesia del Pueblo, and I found myself in a place full of love and peace where my daughter and I could come together every Sunday to worship and learn the word of God in our own language, that was such a blessing! I served on the worship team for 5 years with Juan Marcos Gomez, and that experience enriched my spiritual life and my relationship with Christ.
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
As the Children's Ministry Assistant, I work as a Sunday School Coordinator and during the week I work as a receptionist at the Welcome Desk. God has shown me that if I listen carefully, I can serve Him all the time and in each area in a different ways.
Why I do what I do
I love be surrounded by children, and tell stories about Our Savior Jesus, and I am a people person 100%! I feel blessed to be at WBC.
