How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I did not grow up in a family of faith. In 1979, I traveled with the singing group Up With People and met 3 friends who were Christians. In 1980, I went to California for a reunion with those friends and ended up going to church with one of those friends. At the end of the service, there was an altar call and I went forward and prayed to receive Christ as my personal Savior. When I got home, I called my then ex-boyfriend, who is now my husband, to give him my news and he had the same news to tell me. He had become a believer that same month.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
We moved to Wheaton in 1992 and our next door neighbors were Gary and Christy Bollier, who were members of Wheaton Bible Church. They loved on us and invited us to many events and programs at Wheaton Bible Church and were awesome friends and neighbors.
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
I currently work with the Worship & Creative Arts team as a Producer of the Sunday morning services, Drama Director and a part of the Video Production Team.
Why I do what I do
Because God rescued me from my sins and I’m grateful and I feel called to be a part of a church where others can be rescued as well. God gifted me in certain ways and I want to use my gifts to His glory.
