How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I was raised in a Christian home, accepted Christ as a young child. During my high school years, I realized I could not piggy-back on my parents’ faith, and chose to make it my own.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
When I was a student at Wheaton College, Dick Gerig needed some string players for a program at WBC. I came, played, and stayed!
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
As part of the worship planning team, I help design and carry out our worship services, maintain our music library and organize materials for participants in our services. I also assist grieving families as they prepare funeral services. As a volunteer, I work with Rose Holan to lead Hands & Heart Quilters, a group which makes quilts for our WBC missionaries. I sing in Sanctuary Choir and play violin in our Sanctuary Orchestra.
Why I do what I do
I love the Lord and I love making music. It’s a great privilege to help others find ways to use their gifts to serve the Lord.
