How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I grew up in a Christian home and always knew of God’s existence. So at the age of 13, I accepted Christ into my heart. I was sitting in the Christmas Eve service and felt the Holy Spirit speak to me. I went forward to be baptized that day. As it is with a lot of teenagers, my walk with Christ was not as it should be. However when I met my future husband (who was not a believer) and saw how God was working in his life, I recommitted my life to Christ.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
My husband John and I had been attending the church for about 6 years. We had just started working with World Relief and the refugee families. In dealing with the refugees, my husband got to know Michael Miles. Michael mentioned that he was looking for help in the Finance Office and asked if John knew anyone, and I've been working here ever since!
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
I work in the Finance Office processing bills and contributions.
Why I do what I do
I love serving God and his people in a way that also works well with my family.
