How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I came to know the Lord during my senior year in high school while visiting a local youth group. I had grown up In a Catholic, Hispanic home and hadn't been to church in years but during my senior year we started attending a Christian church in Roselle, IL. It was during my time there that I came to know the Lord during a winter retreat.
How I came to Wheaton Bible Church
My wife and I lived in Louisville, KY for two years after we got married. We lived there and worked at church in Jeffersonville, IN. We got to a point where we felt I was time to move on and so we started job hunting. We both had grown up in Illinois and so when we discovered that WBC was looking for a Hispanic youth pastor we applied immediately.
What I do at Wheaton Bible Church
I am the youth pastor at Iglesia del Pueblo and the Puente del Futuro Afterschool Coordinator.
Why I do what I do
I do what I do because I feel called by the Lord to shepherd His flock and preach His Word.
