Communion Class

At Wheaton Bible Church we believe that communion is an important element of worship that should be understood by everyone participating in it. Because of that, we offer an opportunity for our elementary age children to learn more about its meaning.

 

We encourage you as parents to be actively involved in this process because children who take communion do so with their families. In order for a family to participate in the communion session, registration is required so that we can keep the group to an intimate size. The two sessions are designed as an entire experience so that your child gains the greatest understanding of this wonderful part of our faith. If your schedule does not allow you to participate both weeks, please wait for the next class we offer.

"Meaning of Passover" (Old Testament)
"The Last Supper" (New Testament)
"Communion, the importance and my preparation for it each time."

Look Forward to:

A variety of teaching methods ranging from straight instruction, dramatizations, and a Seder meal reenactment. Various teachers are involved including one of our Elders.
