Our 5's prepare for kindergarten through reading readiness activities and the social, emotional, cognitive and physical learning that underlies greater learning.
Bible Stories / Songs / Moral Character Weekly children are taught Bible Stories, songs, and participate in activities which emphasize good moral character qualities.
Themes Dinosaurs, Space, Sun, Moon and Stars, Australia, France, Apples, Pumpkins, Leaves, Hibernation, Farm, Butterflies, Fish & the Ocean, Penguins & Polar Bears, Weather, and Seasons
Reading / Language Arts Letter recognition and letter sounds, rhyming activities, retelling infor-mation from a story, listening and speaking effectively in a variety of situations.
Math & Science Activities Exploring quantity, numbers, counting, one-to-one correspondence, sorting, one-to-whole, and classifying, etc. Science activities that use all of our senses to explore and observe materials.
Art & Crafts Projects Every day children participate in fun, hands on art and craft projects.
Large Motor Skills Once a week we have 20 minute small group classes that work on large motor development. i.e. hopping, skipping, jumping, running, balance, ball handling etc.
Music Class Once a week children sing songs, do rhythming activities, and move & dance to music.
Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday mornings: 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday afternoons: 12:45-3:15 p.m.
Tuition: Morning Class 4 days a week -- $184 month / $1656 year Afternoon Class 3 days -- $138 month / $1242 Year
Note: This class is reserved for children who have turned 5 over the summer or have fall birthdays.
