Community Groups are the small group ministry at Wheaton Bible Church. They are a primary way in which people at WBC can grow together as followers of Jesus Christ.

A Community Group is a place where you can move from small talk into deeper connection and relationships. They are a place to slow down, engage and encourage others in their lives and spiritual journey, a safe place to be accepted, cared for and challenged to live life to the fullest, the life God created you for.

What are the basics of Community Groups?

• Community Groups are home-based small groups of 10 to 20 people meeting regularly (generally at least twice per month) to care for, support and challenge each other to love God, grow together and reach the world.
• They are led by a godly, equipped Community Group leader who is helping the group to grow and learn together and to seek God’s vision for the group.
• Community Groups are mission-focused and committed to:
  • Learning from God’s Word
  • Praying together
  • Serving together in the community
  • Helping each other and the group to share the gospel with those who don’t yet know Jesus.
