Go On Your Own

 
Due to the growing interest of WBC congregation members to participate in mission trips to places and for lengths of time above and beyond those offered through the Global Outreach & Local Impact Ministry, we have endorsed the following mission agencies and their mission opportunities for individuals to pursue on their own. Some of them are led or directed by our WBC missionaries and some are serving ministries that we partner with or recommend. 

 

India

Electrical engineers needed! Do you have one to two weeks to use your skills in a unique way...for the kingdom of God? Come survey a hospital serving the unreached in India. Contact Shannon at sniermann@wheatonbible.org or 630.588.7073.

 

South Asia

Are you interested in joining God's work of reaching Muslims who have never heard the Gospel in South Asia? You're invited to serve for a month or more and experience a world you will never forget. China

August 8 - 24, 2008: Join international teams from around the world being sent by Hellenic Ministries to serve in China. Opportunities are available to serve in many ways. STEM Ministries

STEM facilitates short-term trips to more than a dozen locations: Caribbean, Central and South America, urban Minneapolis, Turkey, Central Asia, and Africa. Especially for our Maturing Adults...

 

Sebring, Florida

April - October, 2008: Serve with WBC missionary Mary Marbaugh at the Serving in Mission (SIM) retirement center. Your abilities and servanthood are needed in odd jobs such as landscaping, cleaning, painting and cooking, and in encouraging retired missionaries….including some of our own. Orlando, Florida

April - November, 2008: WBC Missionaries Jim and Ruth Lauer invite volunteers to help with childcare during Wycliffe’s two-week Training Camps, held approximately every one - two months between April and November. Apartments are available. Dallas or Orlando
