BELONG@WBC Membership Course

While the process of truly knowing and being known within this church family happens over time, our membership class is an effort to share, in a relatively short time, a broad understanding of who we are, how the Body of Christ functions within this church, what we believe, and how God can use you—as a conduit of His love—in the ministry of encouraging, teaching, building up one another, and reaching out to share the grace and hope we’ve found in Christ with a broken and hurting world.

At Belong@WBC you will hear five engaging talks presented by five different members of the Pastoral Staff. Each talk will focus on an important part of what it means to be a member of WBC.  The class starts out by affirming the key beliefs of the Christian faith. Then you will learn more about how these beliefs are lived out, by both members and leaders, in a covenant relationship. Finally, you will discover how God has uniquely created you to joyfully participate in the body of Christ (and fulfill our purpose as a church) by using your spiritual gifts.

The seminar is a two-day event with the first segment on a Friday night and the second segment on Saturday morning. You will meet briefly with an Elder or Staff member on Sunday morning. You will share with him your testimony and agree to the membership covenant.
