Being known for sending missionaries for 75 years is as much a distinctive of Wheaton Bible Church as being a strong Bible teaching church. Even our relocation plans reflect our values of being a missionary church.
Winning people to Jesus Christ is in our DNA. We are focused on people around the world, in the Chicago suburbs and among the under-resourced population of DuPage County who haven't yet heard the good news that Jesus died for them. This calling is at our core. These are the people groups Jesus spoke of in Acts 1:8, when He told us to be His witnesses from where we live, then in concentric circles geographically, finally reaching "to the ends of the earth."
Global Outreach & Local Impact Ministry Staff Global Outreach and Local Impact is staffed by a team with a passion and the experience to move us on in our commission to reach out as a church, locally and globally. We have a large missionary family who we invite you to get to know. Their stories inspire and encourage us! WBC supports 94 missionary families with a quarter of our church budget. Our missionaries work with 40 different agencies around the world in 39 different countries. Local Impact Emphasis Our newest emphasis is serving our local ministry partners in DuPage County. As we build bridges to our neighbors in need, we will mobilize a greater number of volunteers who will recognize the impact we can have in our own backyard.
