Winter Retreat Feb. 19-21, 2010 The Hyatt Lodge, Oak Brook, IL
Sometimes our connection with Jesus is too much like our cell phone connection. The line is busy, the call is dropped, the battery dies or there's too much noise around us to hear what's being said. Whatever the case, our guest speaker, Nancy Guthrie, will help us to understand what Jesus is saying to us and teach us how to hear Him better. Your batteries will be recharged as you retreat from your fast-paced life and allow this short time away to restore and refresh with your connection to God, other women and the church. You may come drained, but you will leave at full power and with a strong signal.
The weekend will recharge your batteries through inspiring sessions with Nancy Guthrie, fun ways to connect with new women, planned quiet moments in His Word, meaningful worship experiences and scheduled free times to catch up with friends...all this in a fabulous lodge-like setting. Plus this year's retreat is less expensive, closer to home and you can customize your retreat by choosing either the day or overnight package.

Nancy says the most important thing God has given her is a love for his Word. “To me, it is a treasure to be mined,” she says. “The deeper I go, the more I see its wisdom, the more it authenticates itself, the more it reveals to me the amazing mystery of God.”
Nancy’s life experience has significantly affected her teaching style. “I’ve had to dig into God’s Word in search of answers to hard questions about God and how he works, and I find that my listeners usually have the same struggles and questions. And while I share openly the deep hurts in my life, I also like to laugh. I often have people who hear me teach say that I'm very real. I hope that's true."
Nancy and her husband, David, and son, Matt, make their home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Overnight Package This package includes four sessions, a two-night stay at The Hyatt Lodge, breakfast, lunch, dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Use of the fitness center costs $4 per day. All rooms have double beds.
PRICING Room for one - $275 Room for two - $200 Room for three - $175 Room for four - $165
When you register, we will ask you to provide a list of those ladies you wish to room with. If you do not have a roommate, you will be matched based on similar room preference. Single registrants are welcome.
Day Package - $99 This package includes four sessions, lunch and dinner on Saturday. This does not include the overnight stay. You may purchase breakfast at the Water's Edge restaurant on the lower level of The Hyatt Lodge. Click here for the menu.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are available for both the overnight and day packages. Scholarship requests are confidential and are reviewed and awarded in the order they are received. Applications with more information are available at the Welcome Desk or by clicking here. When you turn in the application, please include a registration form for the retreat with all the requested information along with a check for the designated amount. This can be turned in at the Welcome Desk during the week or on Sunday mornings.
The Healthscape Spa
Located at The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus, you are invited to enjoy their spa services which include manicure and pedicure stations, massages, aromatherphy, facials and skin treatments.
