Thank you for considering Wheaton Bible Church Preschool for your child. The preschool years of a child are one of the most important development stages they will ever go through.  Experts tell us that more change occurs for a child during the preschool years than any other time in their life.  Our teaching staff at Wheaton Bible Church is very experienced, loving, and caring.  Our team strives to patiently guide your child as he or she learns about themselves and the world God has placed them in.  The teaching staff and curriculum focus on "Loving God, Loving Others, and Loving Learning."  We look forward to the opportunity  to serve you.

Christian-based Early Childhood Program:

+ Promotes children's growth in all developmental areas:
social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

+ Has an excellent  teacher / child ratio of 1 to 5 or 6
in most classes. 

 

 

Description of Classes

Classes are divided by age.  Please click on the specific program for a complete description of Bible emphasis, Themes, Daily Art / Craft Projects, Music, Gym, Class Times and Cost:

Daily Program

The daily program is designed to be a balance between structured and unstructured time with large group, small group, and individual experiences.  The times spent on these activities will vary with the age of the child. The daily program includes the following:

 

Free Choice Time/Craft Activities: Free choice between  creative-themed interest centers that change weekly.  The craft activity follows the theme of the day.  Each child is individually guided through craft activity. 
 

Music/ Circle Time: Songs, finger plays, and rhythm activities follow the theme for each day. Readiness activities and games are a part of this fun time of day.  Three-year-old classes have a planned music time with a trained music teacher.
 

Snack Time: After prayer, we serve fruit juice and a nutritious snack.

 

Story Time: Good literature is part of each day. Stories are chosen on the basis of theme and appeal to children. Bible stories are also included in this period.

 

Registration

To register, download the registration form, or stop by the Welcome Center in our Atrium and pick up an application. Fill it out and return the application with a $50 non-refundable registration fee to Esther Erickson. Registration forms will be accepted by either mail or in person beginning in January for the following year. Applications will be randomly selected with precedence given to present Preschool families and Wheaton Bible Church families.  The majority of registrations are accepted and processed with no difficulty.
