High School Life
High School students join our Sunday services each week to hear from our teaching Pastors. There is a designated high school seating section in the 10:30 am contemporary service where they can sit with their friends and their Life Group leaders. High school students are also encouraged to serve in one of the many areas of our church, from Kids' Life to technical teams. We encourage our students to become a part in what God is doing at WBC. Click here for more information on how to join a team.
Life Groups, Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm (fall through spring)
Life Groups are the heartbeat of High School Life. High School Life meets here on campus in the East Worship Center every Wednesday for a time of worship and relevant, Bible-based teaching on topics that really matter to high school students. Students then split into their Life Groups to support one another in prayer, go deeper in God's Word, ask difficult questions about life and faith, and grow together as they seek to know what following Jesus is all about.
RECON October 12-13, $25
ReCon is a retreat+conference that focuses on discipleship and serving our community through various work projects. It's a combination of community time, small groups, worship, inspirational teaching and community service. All packed into one weekend. Recon starts right here at church on Friday, October 12, students go home for the night and come back on Saturday, October 13 to go out into the community to serve. Contact David Moran, email@example.com, with any questions.
Throughout the school year, we gather together to have fun, because we believe in fun! We go to Winter Camp in January, we go off campus and do cool things as a Life Group. Make sure you keep informed of all the happenings by signing up for the Family Life Newsletter.
