Giving and Stewardship
Your Gifts at Work
All gifts made to Wheaton Bible Church are used in the support of our church’s mission to love God, grow together, and reach the world. Over 20 percent of our ministry budget is directed to global and local outreach, including 103 missionaries and ministries partners, Puente del Pueblo, Hope Kenya, MOVE, and GO Teams. Your donations are also used to cover ministry expenses, operations, personnel, administrative costs, and loan payments on our building.
Below are several ways you can make a gift to Wheaton Bible Church. We thank you for your faithful and generous support of God’s work through our church’s ministries and outreach.
GIVING & STEWARDSHIP
Ways to Give to What God is Doing at Wheaton Bible Church
More and more individuals and families are choosing to give electronically. This free and convenient service simplifies the giving process, and allows you to give 24/7. It's easy to start, change, or stop. If you are interested in giving any one-time or reoccurring gifts online.
Automatic Clearing House (ACH) payments are a convenient way to give to the church monthly. Scheduled ACH transactions are automatically transferred from your bank account to the church's bank account. This improves stewardship, encourages consistency, and increases our administrative effectiveness. If you would like to set this up, you can use the WBCDirect Agreement Form.
Cash and checks are the most common way people give to the church. Make checks payable to "Wheaton Bible Church." If you would like your cash gifts to be reflected on your giving statement, use an offering envelope and be sure to write your name and address clearly.
For those interested, the church provides giving envelopes. Gifts received in these giving envelopes are tracked and sent out in a quarterly statement. If you would like to sign up to receive giving envelopes, simply check the box on one of the envelopes located in the chair racks in the worship center or call the church business office.
Other Ways to Give
You may also choose Wheaton Bible Church for gifts of stocks, mutual funds, or personal property. In some cases, this may provide you with more tax benefits than donating the proceeds after a sale. You may also be able to name the church as a recipient of Matching Gifts through your place of employment, as a beneficiary of a Memorial Gift, or as a recipient of a gift through a Will or Bequest. Please contact Michael Miles or Scott Landon for help with this.
