Heart2Heart Mentoring Ministry

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”  Titus 2:3-5

You’ve probably wanted to ask someone who has “been there and done that” about different things you encounter in your life. Business men and women pay a lot of money to have a business mentor, athletes hire mentors/coaches to help them through a particular stage of training, and students have mentor programs at school and in the community.

Considering this, why shouldn’t you look for a mentor who can encourage you in our life and faith?  Someone who can share the wisdom she’s learned from life, Scripture, and the Lord. Someone who can encourage you, teach you, and challenge you. The Bible instructs older women to teach younger women about life and faith, and this is the purpose for Heart2Heart Mentoring.

Mentoring Options

  • One-on-one Relationships
These nurturing relationships bring together an older woman of faith and spiritual maturity with a younger woman who is eager to be encouraged and equipped to live for God's glory.
  • Book Groups and Homemaking Groups
These groups consist of one or two older women meeting monthly with four to six younger women. The purpose is passing on principles of biblical womanhood and building relationships between women of different generations.
