What is a Community Group?
A Community Group is a small group of people encouraging one another
to grow closer to Christ as they intentionally participate in His
mission to make disciples.
- What kinds of Community Groups are there?
Groups that are married couples, groups mixed with couples and
singles, groups formed around stages of life, multi-generational groups.
- Where and when do groups meet?
Groups meet at least twice per month in the home of one of the
members of the group. Each gathering lasts anywhere from 1 ½ hours to 2 ½
hours; it is up to each group to decide.
- What goes on at a group meeting?
Each group is different, but most groups have a social time, a
discussion or study time and a prayer time. Each group will decide how
they want their group meetings to run.
- What do groups study?
Each group is free to choose its own study materials. recommendations are available here.
