We are thrilled to welcome three new leaders to our Wheaton Bible Church staff!

Jason Severance – Care Groups Director

Jason has been part of the Wheaton Bible family since 2007, serving faithfully as a Bible study leader, teacher, and elder. In recent years, God placed a clear calling on his heart to pursue biblical counseling, and Jason is now completing a master’s degree in the field. He will now lead our Care Groups and other aspects of Congregational Care, walking alongside those who are hurting with compassion and gospel hope. Jason officially joined our staff on June 9 and will step down from his elder role to take on this new leadership position.

Leah Ryan – Co-Director of High School Life

Leah recently graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Theology and Apologetics and a minor in Women’s Leadership. Her passion for discipling young women in today’s culture stood out strongly during her interview process. She joins Chris Gabriel in co-leading High School Life, aiming to equip the next generation to follow Christ with clarity and courage. Leah began her role on June 2, and we’re confident she will be a strong, caring presence for our students and their families.

Dennis Burgin – Production Director

Dennis brings more than 15 years of professional production experience, serving churches and organizations throughout Chicagoland. A Wheaton Academy and Wheaton College alum, he’s no stranger to our community. Dennis has led technical teams across various church contexts and brings deep expertise in directing, editing, system integration, and more. Starting June 23, he will lead our Production Team across all worship services and help enhance our church’s ability to communicate the gospel clearly and creatively.

Please join us in praying for Jason, Leah, and Dennis as they begin this exciting new chapter at Wheaton Bible Church!
