Dear Church Family,
Thank you for your faithful and generous financial support of Wheaton Bible Church and Iglesia del Pueblo this year! Every gift—large or small—helps advance the mission God has given us to Love God, Love One Another, Love Our Neighbors, and Love the Nations. Because of your giving, lives are being changed, and people are finding community as they grow deeper in their faith.
As we are at the midpoint of the year, we want to share with you where we stand financially. Giving has not been quite as strong as planned. General Offerings are 7% below the budget and 2% below this time last year. While not far from our goal, let us recommit to supporting the Ministry Financial Plan approved at the Annual Meeting. Generosity is not about funding programs—it is an act of worship, a reflection of our trust in God, and a powerful way to participate in His Kingdom work. We recognize that everything we have comes from Him and is for His glory.
Additionally, we reaffirm that being generous people and good stewards goes hand in hand. God calls us to wisely manage what He has entrusted to us. WBC and IDP continue to closely monitor expenses, which are 4% below budget through June. Our debt balance is now down to $1.7 million, and we eagerly look forward to the day we are debt free.
The Atrium refresh continues to make considerable progress. The space has been busy with electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, and other trades during the week. We are looking forward to connecting over a cup of coffee in between Sunday services soon!
Highlights of summer both on campus and in the community include:
- Over 2,000 people enjoying the Annual Picnic
- 49 baptisms and 22 family dedication decisions
- Puente del Pueblo and Neighborhood Bible Clubs reaching hundreds of kids
- GO teams of students and adults serving both locally and globally
- Young families connecting on Sunday mornings and at special summer events
Thank you for being a vital part of WBC and IDP through your faithful presence and regular giving. Please continue to ask God for guidance in these areas of worship, as you continue to support the Church. We appreciate and value your commitment and look forward to a great second half of 2025!
With gratitude,
