Showing the love of Jesus to our community through affordable Christmas shopping
You can help show Christ’s love this Christmas by contributing a gift to the Christmas Store which will provide parents a dignity-giving shopping experience where they are able to buy gifts for their children at a reduced cost (70% or more off of retail price!).
Every December, our Puente del Pueblo ministry invites under-resourced families in our community to the Christmas Store, providing parents the opportunity to stretch their hard-earned dollars to purchase affordable gifts for their children. At the Christmas Store, parents are able to shop for gifts for their children, enjoy Christmas music and treats in a festively decorated space, and have their gifts wrapped for them by a friendly team of volunteers.
In addition to this, the Christmas Store provides an opportunity for these under-resourced families to connect to the much-needed services that Puente del Pueblo offers, and to be prayed for and connect with our church family.
To participate either:
- Place your gift—new, unwrapped, and with the receipt*—in the Gift Drive collection boxes available in the lobby area on Sundays November 2 through December 7.
- Purchase gifts online from Sunday, November 2 through Sunday, December 7 via our Amazon link above and have them shipped directly to the Christmas Store location.
- Note: When checking out, be sure to select the Gift Registry address: Community Fellowship Church. If you have trouble selecting this address, you may manually send gifts to—28W240 W North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185. Please make sure the name on the shipment reads: “Community Fellowship – PdP Christmas Store”
*Including the receipts helps us determine the cost of each gift so we can accurately adjust the price when discounting the gifts for the Christmas Store.
