Featuring WBC Missionary Brent Preston

Event Details:

  • 5:00PM – Punch & Fellowship
  • 5:30PM – Dinner (Fellowship Center)
  • 6:30PM – Program (East Worship Center)

Join us for this MissionsFest highlight as WBC missionary Brent Preston shares fascinating highlights from his missionary journey to 5 to 7 cultures—all in precarious parts of the world where the Gospel is greatly needed, but Christians often not welcomed.

  • Places like Papua, Indonesia, where Brent was born into a missionary family who served among a cannibalistic tribe
  • Southern Russia in the 1990s, when a coup sought to kick missionaries out of the country
  • Afghanistan during years of conflict
  • And more recently, several largely Muslim nations of the Middle East and North Africa

Enjoy glimpses of intriguing cultures and snapshots from the front lines in the face of obstacles. Also, celebrate evidence of God’s protection and ways He opened doors for impactful work in Jesus’ name as Brent’s team “let their light shine.”

Bring one or two nonperishable food items to support the People’s Resource Center.

Registration is now closed, but you are welcome to walk in and join for the program at 6:30PM.
