WBC Canada GO Team Overview
For over two decades, WBC has sent GO Teams to the Whitefish River First Nation Community on Manitoulin Island in Ontario. In July, our team of singles, couples and young families will once again spend time in the community as we continue to cultivate relationships, learn from tribe members, and share God’s love and His Word in this outreach to First Nations peoples.
Together, we will reach many demographics through hosting a Kids’ Club, providing festive family events, assisting with recreational outreaches to teens, and leading crafts for women and kids. Team size each year ranges from 25-40, and activities are designed around the skills and interest areas of the team. Activities planned for the week are seeker friendly, informal, and designed to reflect Christ in a winsome way. Families are welcome!
The approximate cost is $525 per person for singles or $975 for couples and families (plus travel). Two primary lodging options (camping or hotel) are available. Individual and families carpool or drive independently and convene on Manitoulin Island.
