We don’t just gather for worship, we’re being formed by it.
Liturgy, by definition, is all about helping us understand that each part of our service—call to worship, confession, prayers, songs, creeds— is not just tradition.
Our goal is to understand how and why every part of our worship service is essential. This is not only because it is based on Scripture, but also because it shapes our minds and our heart’s affections, empowering our individual wills to live for God’s glory, our good, and the good of others.
Each week, we’ll answer three questions:
Why this specific element?
Why do we need it?
How does this element point us to the Gospel?
We believe liturgy isn’t empty ritual. It’s deeply formative in shaping our heart, affection, and mind for God’s glory, our good, and the good of others.
