World Relief

Welcome a refugee or immigrant family and help them thrive in their new community.

Refugee Resettlement
Each year, thousands of refugees and immigrants make the Chicagoland area their new home. You can play a vital role in helping them adjust to life in the U.S., navigate a new culture, and feel a sense of belonging.

There are several ways you can get involved:

  • Serve Once – help with a specific task or project, or volunteer with a group for a single serving opportunity.
  • Flexible Serving – meet needs when you’re available.
  • Build Relationships – connect weekly with individuals or families for meaningful, long-term support.
  • Join a team – serve consistently with a group as part of a dedicated Good Neighbor Team.
