Wheaton Bible Church has a long history of investing in global missions and local outreach. Our commitment to reach the world with the love of Jesus Christ has continued through more than eight decades. Today, more than 30% of our church budget is directed to global and community outreach!
Across our campuses, we support approximately 90 missionaries and partners—individuals and couples who use an array of skills and passions to impact more than fifty nations of the world in Jesus’ name. In challenging contexts where we cannot send our own due to lack of access or security concerns, we partner with Strategic Indigenous Leaders who know their culture and are proven leaders.
Locally, our Puente del Pueblo outreach is the largest social service provider in West Chicago—offering case management services for families, adult literacy programming, and after-school and summer programming for children and youth. Our church also partners in providing Safe Families, Refugee Resettlement, and other supportive services to the vulnerable in our communities.

GREG & DEBBY NICHOLS
Czech Republic | Leadership Development & Refugee Ministry
Greg's heart to disciple others is evident as he uses kingdom principles to coach leaders within Greater Europe Mission and across Europe, as well as through his ministry to new workers moving to Europe. Debby uses her gifts in hospitality, the arts, and mentoring—enabling others to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Former missionaries in Ukraine, the Nichols both play key roles in a Ukrainian church plant in Prague, a buzzing hub for bringing hope, healing, and the Gospel to refugees.
MAREK & JULIE HANCIK
Czech Republic | Outreach & Church Planting
Since 2006, the Hanciks have served as church planters in the Czech Republic, where Marek was born. Graduates of Moody Bible Institute, they are praying that God will establish a thriving church in their town of 10,000. Besides pastoring their church plant—their engaging community outreaches include a teen English club, library seminary series, craft and holiday events, and a food bank.

CAROLYN ADOLPH
Florida | Medical Missions
Carolyn, a registered nurse, spent 23 years as a missionary nurse in Ethiopia. Currently, she serves as a nurse/advocate for 150 retired missionaries at SIM's retirement village in Florida. She continues to have a heart for medical ministry at Soddo Christian Hospital in Ethiopia, where she travels periodically on short-term mission trips.
